Going Italian

Recently we went out to try out a local Italian restaurant that is gaining popularity here in Taipei. They offer a unique dining experience where you get to try all the dishes the restaurants offers in little bites before your main course. 

So the right watch for the occasion is required and nothing matches the occasion as one made in Italy.

Double trouble

One year later and I still like my Ennebi. Why? Little inconsistencies like this... Adds to the charm I guess.

Both watches are from the same collection but one with the luminous logo while the other does not. Both were suppose to have luminous logo...

So why is it that Ennebi does not need a screwdown crown yet able to maintain a depth rating of 1,000M?

Ennebi uses a spring energized PTFE seal at the crown to prevent water and dirt intrusion into the watch. This stainless steel spring steel preloads the PTFE seal and this acts on the 3mm crown stem forming a barrier. How cool is that...

Testing....

I just got myself a new gear, thanks to my wife, the Olympus OMD EM-10 with the 14-42mm EZ lens. I always wanted an Olympus, during the days of the OMD1, OMD2 and OMD10. Yes, we are talking about film cameras. So, good time to test and see..

The Ennebi...

This close up was with the Olympus MCON-P02 mounted. This is a Macro converter for the 14-42mm EZ lens.

Ennebi...

It seems that the Ennebi Fondale reference 9660-100 has hit the 300 mark, i.e. Matr. 300/300. How cool is that.

That means the reference 9660-100 is no more. It will be replaced. But before that, here are my Ennebi reference 9660-100...

This watch has been modified to be a destro. Mounted on a Simona Papillon SE of only 4 pieces created for a small group of likeminded WIS. :)

The version without a rotating bezel, mounted on a Herioc18 strap.

So what replaces the reference 9660-100? It will be replaced by the Ennebi Toscana, reference 9663. There will be two version, a titanium version which will be an open edition and a Limited Edition of only 20 pieces (some say 33) bronze model.
