Project Gangsa

This was a project watch for a forum of which I am a member. The watch is called 'Projek Gangsa' which is Malaysian for Project Bronze. The watch was made for the forum by VDB and a limited run of only 15 pieces.

I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot (not at a professional level) the watch at a recent GTG when I was on holiday in Malaysia. The watch comes in at about 46mm in diameter and is powered by the robust and reliable ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. I do love the raw feel of the watch.

Enjoy....

Beautiful brown dial with gold hands.

The PVD black crown at the 12 o'clock position. Something you don't see very often.

PVD black case back.

The 80s look of the dial.

PVD black buckle.

I just love the utilitarian look and the large marker at the 12 o'clock position.

A tad over exposed perhaps?

Fuji XE1 with Fuji XF60mm Macro lens.
