Bracelet adjustment...

Recently I had the pleasure of helping to adjust the bracelet for a friend's watch. So I decided to take some photographs of the process. It is not a step by step precess, but you get the idea...

The watch...

Initially we wanted to remove the bracelet from the watch to do the adjustment. I know, how would you test fit once the links were put in? Well, we were going to install all the links. Anyway, how to protect your watch from scratches if you want to remove the bracelet.

We finally decided against removing the bracelet.

Interesting to note that there is a gap in the last link with the clasp.

Closer view...

Can you see? Apologies for the poor photography...

The extra links...

We will add one links to each side of the clasp.

Carefully unscrew the screw as the sides of the links are polished.

The screw removed.

The bracelet unhooked, ready for the extra link.

The extra link.

As you can see the center is hollow. Great if it were solid. :)

Extra link added.

On to the other side. Same process on the other side...
