Oris has released the limited edition BC3 Air Racing to commemorate the success of the Oris Big Crown Racing Team. In its first foray in the legendary Reno Air Races in Nevada, USA, the team was placed 2nd in the Formula Gold Race. The plane, the Scarlet Screamer, was piloted by team pilot Don Vito Wypraechtiger.

The BC3 Air Racing is a limited edition run of only 1,000 pieces, referenced 01 668 7647 7184-Set. The watch case is titanium and has an additional 24 hour hand to show a second time zone. The red airplane shaped pointer of the second time zone hand relates to the colour and design of the Scarlet Screamer.

Movement: Oris calibre 668 (ETA 2893-2) automatic movement
Water resistant: 10 ATM
The watch comes with a stainless steel screw down crown and a special engraved titanium case back. It will also come in a special box with an extra strap and strap change tool. All in all, I have to say it is an interesting watch and an offering from Oris which I might like to get, since I have always like the BC3 series from Oris.
