Watch photography

More attempts at watch photography. Unedited and uncut....

Watches belongs to a good friend.

Rolex Explorer II. I believe it is a newer model in the series as it has the engraved rehaut.

Got to love the polar. Wonder what the black dial version is called...

Both watches just out from a spa treatment at RSC (Rolex Service Center).

The engraved or etched rehaut.

The Rolex crown at the 12 o'clock position (dial and rehaut).

Nice red GMT hand.

The reference 14060. The 2 liner Submariner.

Love the brushed case. Well made watches....

A little patina showing in the pip. Not so clear on the dial and hands....

Well taken care.....

The cousins together....

Still trying to learn how to capture the watches minus the reflection and without using a polariser....

The twinlock crown of the Explorer II.

The triplock crown of the Submariner.

Hope to bring a review of these watches soon....

Looking at these watches and the fact that I know what RSC can do, sometimes makes me want to just change the direction of my collection.....

  2. BTW, if you are going to do some macro shots, do look for the elusive laser-etched crown on the Polar....I still cant spot it with my eyes... sigh...
