Kobold Soarway Transglobe

Kobold Watch Co, operating out of the US are offering its new Soarway Transglobe to its existing customers at a discount. The Soarway Transglobe will retail for USD 3,100, but if you are an existing customer and if you purchase before June 30th, you only pay USD 2,650.

The new Soarway Transglobe is designed by Kobold spokesperson, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and will be produced in Kobolds' facilities in Nepal. As such, on the dial, it will say 'Made in Nepal'. How cool is that.

The watch will feature a second time zone display at the 12 o'clock position. It will display the hours and minutes, unlike many two time zone watches that only shows the hour via a centrally mounted third hand. The benefit of the Kobold design is that you can show time zones that have differences of 15 or 30 minutes and also the more common full hour. There is also a day and night indicator (linked to the second time zone indicator) to show day or night. The date complication is at the 6 o'clock position.

The watch is cased in stainless steel and will feature a screw down crown and sapphire crystal. The watch is water resistant to 30 ATM. It is powered by Kobold caliber K.793 which is based on the ETA 2892-A2.
