Set-paved with pink sapphires
When our gaze sweeps over the dial of this watchmaking art piece, a KERBEDANZ Esperanza, it is taken away by the 10 carats of pink sapphires that surround its fully stone-set bezel.... It is difficult not to be pleased, in addition to remembering Grace Jones' masterful interpretation of La Vie En Rose, of the 15,000 flowers of the Rose Garden in Los Angeles French District.
The rhythm and perfume are both throbbing and hypnotic, the crown winding is in the northeast, as if it were necessary to allude to some invisible earthly axis, a well balanced and harmonious source.

A poetic universe of allegories
The KERBEDANZ brand loves cultural allusions that incline to the introduction in its timepieces of subliminal messages with plural resonances. Especially when these are full of poetry. Thus, the Hope from which this Esperanza takes its name is declined in a fantastic narration of Greek mythology: the gods sent to men the first human form of woman, Pandora... Naturally curious, this creature could not resist the temptation to open the lid of the jar (pithos) where all the evils of humanity were held. The last-these then escaped to sub- merge humanity. Frightened by her act, Pandora closed the lid just in time, preventing Hope (Eperanza) from escaping at the last moment.

MOVEMENT
Indicating the hours and minutes only, the calibre KRB-03, 35 rubies, a mechanical self-wind- ing motor by oscillating rotor, was designed, manufactured and decorated by KERBEDANZ. It provides the comfort of 120 hours of power reserve, or one week in working days, its frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz).
CASE
The wristwatch case is in 18-carat yellow solid gold, its diameter is 42 mm. The design and the space requirement of its lugs (wristband fasteners) make this piece totally comfortable even on very thin wrists. While the case is entirely set with 10 carat pink sapphires, the wristband fasteners are each overlaid by a 0.37 carat diamond row. Despite its caratage and gem-setting, this timepiece is guaranteed waterproof to 5 atmospheres, or 50 meters deep. Like almost all KERBEDANZ timepieces, the crown is located asymmetrically between the 1:00 and 2:00 positions.
DIAL
The matrix of the dial is in solid gold. A guillochage expert has designed a luminous decor that KERBEDANZ glazing covers. KERBEDANZ’s emblem is displayed at 12 o'clock and the subtly openwork hands are in gold. The other time positions are each represented by a 0.08 diamond. Dial exclusively designed, manufactured and hand decorated by KERBEDANZ.
STRAP
White satin was chosen. The wristband has an 18-carat solid yellow gold clasp, the special design of which belongs exclusively to KERBEDANZ.
