Yet another watch that I have in my line of sight to acquire, the TR1000. MKII Corporation has acquired the rights to the name Tornek-Rayville and will be issuing the watch under this name. The last watch issued under this name was 30 years ago. The new watch, called the TR1000 will be the updated version of the famous and highly popular TR900. There were only about 1,000 TR900 made.
The TR1000 Basic specifications:
Movement: ETA 2824-2 with MKII signed rotor
Case: Bead blasted 316L stainless steel case
Bezel: Unidirectional 120 click dive timer with luminous acrylic insert
Crystal: Double dome sapphire, AR coated
Size: diameter 42 mm, height 13.7 mm, lug width 22 mm
Water resistant: 30 ATM
The first batch of the watch, 10 to 15 pieces has sold out. The delivery of the first batch is expected sometime in October. Although this watch will not be a limited edition, production of this watch per year will be limited.
