Exploring...

One of the watches that I always wanted to get but never got (until recently) was the Explorer II. I was fortunate to get one fitted with the Rolex caliber 3186, a late Z series from 2006/07.

The watch...

This watch has an interesting history. The watch was produced in Switzerland (in the Rolex factory). It was shipped to Taiwan where it was sold to the first owner. Somehow the watch was sold and ended up in the USA (Florida, if I am not mistaken). It was subsequently sold to its last owner and ended up in Malaysia.

With its last owner, the watch has travelled around in Malaysia and even travelled with the owner to Australia (Queensland and Tasmania). The watch was in Australia for sometime. In between the travels, the watch was sent back to Taiwan, to Rolex for a service.

Now the watch is with me. I intend to continue to expose the watch and live up to its name, being an Explorer. So, the watch in essence would be my go to watch. So lets begin....

The watch with me in Malaysia, to be exact, in Malacca. In the back ground, one of Malaysia's National food, the Nasi Lemak.
