Omega X33 clasp repair..

I finally got down to repairing my Omega X33 clasp. The clasp broke sometime ago...

Anyway, a kind soul linked me to where I could get a replacement. Thank you.

The process... Something you should not follow as this was the lazy person way of doing things and most unprofessional at that... :)

The new part...

The clasp...

Gain access to the clasp by removing the attached bracelet.

The removed bracelet...

The broken piece still inside the clasp.

Closer view...

The dis-assembly process begins...

The broken piece...

As I highlighted earlier, this is the lazy man way of doing things. The proper way would be to remove everything.

The new (bottom) and the old...

The new locking thing in place, ready for rebuild.

You can see the part number of the clasp at the top of the clasp.

All done.

The watch, ready to receive the bracelet.

All done. Happy again.

The broken locking thing. :)
