My travel pouches

I have 2 travel pouches (well proper watch travel pouches). One is more suited for smaller watches and the other can carry big size watches. Both are designed for carrying one watch.

The first is from Folli Follie. This pouch is bright orange in colour. It is made of suede and has a draw-string design. It measures 11.4 x 9.8 cm. It is well made and the stitching is good. The only problem I have with this pouch is that it tends to pick up lint. It does make the pouch look dirty. Due to its size, I think this pouch is more suited to carry ladies watches. There is no indication where the pouch is made, but I was told by the salesperson at the Folli Follie boutique that it is made in Greece.

The other pouch I have is from IWC. The funny thing is that I have this pouch and another travel pouch (reviewed earlier) from IWC, yet I do not have any watch from them. Well I did come close to getting a Mark XV when I was in Malaysia recently. Oh well... back to the pouch.

This is a big pouch. It measures 18 x 12 cm. It is also made out of suede. The pouch is made in France. The colour of the pouch is rather interesting. It is grey/ brown depending at which angle you look at it. It has the IWC logo and legend on the front of the pouch. The legend is printed on the pouch and I believe with use, it will wade. There are no other legend on the pouch.

The watch is kept safe in the pouch by means of a flap. I do not think that i is the best means of keeping the watch in the pouch. It would be better if the flap has a button to 'lock' it in place as heavy or larger watches can slide out. The pouch is large enough to accommodate 2 watches and to prevent the watches from knocking each other, just fold the pouch along the center vertically.

I am pretty happy with the pouches.
