Pulsar battery change...

When it is the season.... sigh....

Anyway it is the turn of the Pulsar military watch.

The Pulsar G10 watch. I have three of these. I would guess the other two will be soon.

The back. This one has been civilianised. Not very successful...

Out with the correct tool. The Pulsar has a snap back case back.

The unique thing about the Pulsar is that it has two case back removal notch. One at the top.

And the other at the bottom.

The blade to open the case back.

The removed case back with its Teflon gasket. No need to lubricate.

Made by Seiko Epson Corp Hong Kong.

The basic quartz movement, also made by Seiko Epson.

The battery removal is rather easy, just pry it out.

New battery fitted. Check that the watch is working before you close up the watch.

Clean the movement before closing the case back.

The watch is powered by the SR920 battery.

The watch, back in running order.

Shot with Leica C-Lux 1.
