Seiko SRP461K1

Finally got my hands on the Seiko SRP461K1. Thanks to all concerned. This is the second Code Blue Monster released after the Seiko SRP455. The major difference is the strap. The SRP455 is fitted with a blue rubber strap, while the SRP461 is fitted with a metal bracelet. The other difference is the SRP455 has the standard 6 digit Seiko serial number while the SRP461 is a 500 piece run.

The watch.....

Closer view....

The beautiful sunburst dial...

The beautiful blue coated bezel.

The gold (coated) screw down crown. Lovely to use.

Close up view of the sunburst dial and gold hands. Date and day window at 3 o'clock. Fang markers...

The steel bracelet. Standard steel bracelet found on the Monsters.

The clasp with the safety lock, signed.

The blue is just.... blue.... :)

Not sure if the the bezel is PVD, ionised or DLC....

The crown, knurled.

Not sure how robust is the blue coating...

The limited edition run serial number is engraved on the case back instead on the standard Seiko serial numbers.

I will do a review and comparison between the SRP455 and SRP461 on a later date....

  2. Hi Gabriel,

Welcome to the blog. With regards to your question, I believe at the moment, the only places selling the 461 is Malaysia and Singapore.

    Best regards,

    Ivan
