Today was a busy day running around government office doing the necessary government things. Much to my surprise, while waiting at one of the government office, I spotted this. Something I would never thought I would see.
A Rolex Explorer II reference 16550 with cream dial. How awesome is that. I spoke to the owner and he let me take a couple of shots off the watch. I also got to know a bit more about the watch.
A closer view of the cream dial. A rail cream dial with white gold surround and hands, and proper Swiss T markings at the 6 o'clock position (considered by many to be the correct cream dial).
According to the owner, he got the watch about 4 to 5 years ago when the dial was still white. Slowly over the years, the dial changed colour, and the owner never bothered about it. Cool. I like the watch.....
